From butchers to beauty salons, art galleries to organic grocers, ice cream artisans to antiques...  Coleham has a busy high street with plenty of independent shops.  The area has a rich history, originating as a village on the banks of the Severn and growing significantly during the Industrial Revolution and Victorian eras.  Coleham is now setting trends with a growing arts and design scene.

Coleham enjoys easy access to the green spaces of The Quarry, riverside walks, and the 5km long Rea Brook Valley Country Park and Nature Reserve.  Sports club abound, from grass court tennis and bowles, to rowing and running groups.

Eating out is a treat with House Coffee or The Coleham Tap the perfect places to meet friends.  Pack up a picnic at one of the many delis, take-aways or convenience stores.

Getting about is easy with bus routes into Shrewsbury Town Centre and out into beautiful Shropshire.  Cyclists enjoy the quiet, flat roads and access to the National Cycle Network.
