Our first social housing project

SY Homes are proud to have completed a social housing scheme on behalf of Wales and West Housing Association (WWHA).  

Heol Gruffydd in Garth Owen Newtown consists of 19 houses and 6 apartments all delivered to a very high standard and on budget. It is a great addition to much needed housing in the area.

Heol Gruffyd was constructed utilising local tradesmen and suppliers.  SY Homes worked hard throughout the Covid shutdown periods to ensure that the scheme was completed with minimal delays.  The first residents moved in on 1st December 2021.

This was SY Homes first social housing project and we were delighted to be given the opportunity to do this with WWHA who are one of the UK’s most successful housing associations.
