First room reveal in #2 The Shrubbery
After months of extensive renovations, the finishing touches are being added to this stunning new home.
Built in the 1840's as a private residence and later known as the Lord Hill Hotel, this fine building is being lovingly brought back to life.
It's exciting to look back on the 'Before' shots which show quite how much of the transformation this fabulous building has undergone.
We are very proud of the commitment and dedication of our excellent team of tradespeople to achieve such a high standard of finish throughout. Work has included:
- walls stripped to brick
- ceilings refitted with excellent insulation
- rewiring throughout with chrome fittings
- new handmade, double-glazed, wooden sash windows
- fully re-plastered for a perfect finish
- new radiators with fresh pipes and boiler
Going further back in time, we found some photos of the former hotel bedrooms.
Whilst we can't be certain this is the exact same room... we are certain that tastes have changed over the years!
Back in the present, this beautiful bedroom gets lots of natural light. At 4m x 4.83m, it makes a fantastic second bedroom (the Master is even larger!).
We have chosen to use virtual staging to bring rooms to life. Our interior designers will be happy to work with buyers who want to reproduce any of the styling shown.
